Garlanding of St. Antony

Garlanding is part of the Indian culture to receive or honor a person. It is a token of love and thanksgiving for the graces and favors received from St. Antony. One of the most favored ways of paying homage to St. Antony in this shrine is by garlanding the statue. The offering given by the devotees for garlanding is used exclusively for the marriage aid of the poor girl.
